![]() They only last three months, though, so you can play lots of different characters in a year – some sad, some angry, some with amazing imaginations. I really enjoy them both! They both involve performing, and I love acting, so that’s great! On a TV show, you can play the same character for years! It really lets you dive into the role, and you also get to work with the same people, so you really get to know them. Now that you’ve experienced both, how does working on a movie compare to working on a TV show? Which do you prefer? What are the biggest similarities and differences? Ethan and Bailey (Bailey is the name of my dog in the movie) go on many adventures together and have the time of our lives. I play Ethan, a young boy with a big heart. Tell us about the character you play in A Dog’s Purpose. If I could play a prank on anyone, it would probably be my big brother Blake to get him back for all of the times he’s pranked me! He is always jumping out from around corners and scaring me! You have three feature films coming out this year, which is very impressive! Wonder and Into the Who Knows will be out later in 2017, while A Dog’s Purpose is in theaters now. If you could play a prank on anyone in the world (a family member, a friend, a celebrity…), who would you choose and why? At the very end, a ghost bear bursts through a wall, and the reactions of our babysitter running around scared were priceless! That one has always been in my top five. We had a babysitter come over and turned a normal house into a haunted house. One of the first pranks I did was the ghost bear prank. When you think back to the pranks you’ve played on Walk the Prank, are there any that are particularly memorable for you? On Walk the Prank, there is always something different each day. Also, my castmates are amazing to work with. After a prank, I always get my daily dose of laughter. Your Disney Channel show Walk the Prank looks like a lot of fun! What’s your favorite thing about being on the show? One of them is very serious and one of them is very funny – I’ll let you figure out which is which! I’ve always loved performing, so when a friend invited me to an acting school and I tried acting, I immediately loved it. Read on for our interview with Bryce Gheisar.įirst of all, what inspired you to get into acting? Are there any actors you particularly look up to?īryce Gheisar: I look up to many actors, but my favorites are Leonardo DiCaprio and Jim Carrey. I’ll be the random dude.In addition to starring in Disney’s Walk the Prank, Bryce Gheisar also plays the young Ethan in A Dog’s Purpose, and has two more films coming out this year! We chatted with him about acting, pranking, traveling, and more. However, if you’re looking to get some ambiguous figure and cast it later, we can shoot that, and instead of hiring some random dude, I will step in. They said, “We have this character and we want to tease him at the end of the episode, but we haven’t cast him yet…unless it’s something you want to do.” But I couldn’t commit to what they needed for the character, so I said “Look, unfortunately, I am already committed to some other stuff. They hadn’t cast Miles yet-they’d actually pitched it to me. That’s me! Just look for the bow legs and you’ll see ’em. I thought that might be you coming out of the trailer! The shadows are so heavy… But fun fact for you, the episode ends on me. I think I even had my mask on still, so it probably wouldn’t have worked anyway. I just threw the headphones off at the last second and walked into the scene. There was a moment in the concert where I walk by and he and I look at each other, but it was more of a gag. Was there any talk of placing you in the episode anywhere, even for the cameo? Jared told me he wanted a moment where you guys crossed paths. But I would’ve spent all day watching him go through a variety of obstacles that I had deviously created. But we didn’t have the time and obviously we needed to service some of the other actors. Jensen Ackles: I will say, I wanted to literally make the whole show a Tough Mudder for him. That blindfolded obstacle scene-how much did you enjoy putting him through that? You’ve directed Jared before, but this episode gave you an opportunity to torture him in all new ways. ![]() No, instead we asked Ackles how much fun he was able to have at the expense of his old Supernatural partner. Not so much about the storyline, which is sure to create even more chaos for Cordi ( Jared Padalecki) as he deals with the reveal that Geri ( Odette Annable) is the lost daughter of the evil Davidsons. Now that his episode of Walker has aired - and we’ve learned that Cassie’s ( Ashley Reyes) missing ex-partner isn’t so missing after all - it’s safe to spill some more details from Jensen Ackles‘ first time directing the show.
